Shallow Sculpture shows an abstraction of a façade of a building that has been demolished to make room for the apartment block where I live at the moment. The light that normally would fall through the windows, is now directly casted on the back wall of the house. The Succession hints to ‘a line of succession’, a sequence of consecutive buildings which are linked together through time. A title that is about how one place can have several memories, of all the different houses and buildings that once stood there.
